Sony Ericsson have released a teaser video online to hint at their latest device with the official announcement coming tomorrow on the 3rd of November. Whilst speculation around the name continues (X3, X10, Rachael!?!), the phone spied in the video is undoubtedly Sony Ericsson’s first Android phone, expected to join the Xperia family of smartphones. From the video, the small shots we do get of the phone are instantly recognisable as the same images that leaked several months ago, seemingly confirming that for once the internet rumour mill was right on the money. Official specs are still absent though from the video we can ascertain that this new Android offering will feature a microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack. Rumoured specs hint at a 4.1 inch touchscreen display, 1GHz snapdragon processor and an 8.1 Megapixel camera which, if they’re confirmed tomorrow, will put the Xperia X10 on top of the pile as the most powerful Android phone yet. Will the X10 launch with Android 2.0 (Eclair)? We wouldn’t bet against it. Make sure you check back tomorrow when we give you all the gory details and check out the preview video below to keep you going till then!
