Sony Ericsson W850i

Today Sony Ericsson announced the W850i for launch later this year:

Another Walkman branded phone, the W850i will be available in precious black or golden white. The phone has a ‘Heartbeat illumination’ feature to light up the control keys in rhythm with the music. The slide style W850i incorportes a 2.0 megapixel camera, and works on the UMTS 2100 and Tri-band GPRS 900/1800/1900 frequencies. Also included in the spec list is a 260k TFT QVGA screen, Bluetooth 2.0 support and a full HTML web browser with RSS feed support.

  1. i hate sony ericson. bought the phone in feb 07. display stopped working in two months, there were function problems as well. the ’s’ atarted showing up as ‘f’. the phone book also would not scroll. finally the display conked off. the authorised service station said that it was due to liquid damage. sweat! cant believe that a phone that costs so much would be damaged by a little bit of sweat. i have had nokias drowned in water but still working. the w850i is now unrepairable. replacement of hardware would cost a lot. hate sony ericson. regret switching from nokia
