Had mine for over a month now and overall fairly happy. Few instances of lag and its crashed on me once but i’ve used Nokia’s before so expect this until Nokia can release a firmware update. All in all a cracking phone, i’ve put an 8GB card in mine so its rocking 40GB internal memory, put that in your iPhone and smoke it!

Does N 97 support editing in MS Word & Exel sheets ?

The N97 does have a dedicated graphics chip though Nokia have yet to confirm what one. Early reports suggested it will be the same 3D accelerator featured in the N95, keep an eye on the Blog and we’ll keep you updated.

Im looking forward to getting the N97, sold my E90, using my old P990 at mo,still rocks tho..lol
Uiq3 software is gr8, Symbiam OS know how to make some great stuff,
My list of items i want this year are..?
1.. N97
2.. SONY VAIO VGN Z21WN
3.. A HIGH PAYING JOB.. LOL OR MAYBE IN REVERSE ORDER…

Yes the N97 allows you to use an on screen alpha-numeric keyboard for a more traditional text input method.

Is it possible in N97 to write email/sms with a mini alpha-numeric on-screen keyboard without opening the full qwerty keyboard?

Price is what it’ll come down to to see how many people bite for this phone. I’d love one but if it’s true about the price - £500 SIM-free - that rules me out. Even with a contract, I’m likely to be hosed as it won’t bring it down to iPhone prices…
