Nokia introduce the Illuvial range!

There was a time when choosing a Nokia phone was as simple as picking a number. Then came along a slew of slides and folds to tell you what kind of a phone you were getting along with the N and Eseries line ups that catered for multimedia and business users respectively and most recently we’ve seen the Classic range of handsets which take inspiration from Nokia’s of old. And now Nokia have added one more group to their ever growing portfolio; the Illuvial range.

Whilst not, strictly speaking, an entirely new range, the Illuvial line up brings an edgy new design and bold colour scheme to already established products. The trio of handsets chosen to debut the illuvial way of thinking? That’ll be the 5530 illuvial, 6303 illuvial and 6700 illuvial. Each model is instantly recognisable as the model it has evolved from the striking new designs are destined to stand out in a crowd. The 5530 boasts a luminous pink stripe that surrounds the phone which combines nicely with the stainless steel front and glossy black that make up the rest of the body. The 6303 illuvial looks brilliant in black with a subtle deep pink keypad and floral pattern on the rear. And, saving the best for last, the already ultra cool 6700 is given a makeover with the stylish flat keypad given luminous pink numbers and the same colour running across the back and encompassing the camera. Finishing it all off we get a nice etched floral pattern on the back.

As for features, each phone is a carbon copy of its generic variant so, for the 5530 we get a 2.9 inch touchscreen, 3.15 Megapixel camera, Wi-Fi and the powerful Symbian operating System. The 6303 also boasts a 3.15 Megapixel but takes a more leisurely approach in other areas loosing out on Wi-Fi and instead relying purely on the phones GPRS capabilities. Lastly we get the excellent 6700 which is more of a powerhouse with an excellent 5.0 Megapixel camera, HSDPA and GPS with Nokia maps pre-installed. So, whether it’s a touchscreen, simplicity or power you’re after, there’s an Illuvial phone to suit everyones needs. The 5530 and 6303 Illuvial are in stock now with the 6700 available to pre-order and due to arrive next week.
