Today Vodafone has unveiled its first Vodafone-only branded 3G consumer handset, the Vodafone 710. Their aim is to have the Vodafone name recognised as a brand in its own right within the handset market.

The handset is a 3G phone, incorporating a 1.3 megapixel camera, MP3 player and Bluetooth. As expected, the phone is fully integrated with the Vodafone services, such as Radio DJ, Mobile TV, video & music downloads and video calling.

The Vodafone 710 is expected to market in October in all major Vodafone territories, UK, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Greece, Netherlands, Romania & Portugal.
