Sony Ericsson Aino and Yari get in on the update action!

Whilst the problems may not have been as well publicised or wide spread as the Satio, the Sony Ericsson Aino wasn’t completely bug free, suffering its own string of faults ranging from poor battery life to faults with the WLAN connection and even unresponsive and faulty touchscreens. As we said, the problems weren’t frequent or wide spread enough to warrant a recall but for the small few experiencing problems we can certainly empathise.

And so too can Sony Ericsson. Hot on the heels of the Satio firmware update, Sony Ericsson have now updated the firmware for the Aino which should improve battery life, GPS, Bluetooth and WLAN. Similar to the Satio, all new Aino’s should ship with the updated firmware as standard though for existing customers fear not, Sony Ericsson haven’t forgotten about you, the update can be downloaded here. Whilst it would be nice if Sony Ericsson could launch a phone with reliable software, at the very least they can be commended for the speedy turnaround.

So, that’s the Satio and Aino updated, but what about the third musketeer? Well, despite not actually suffering any major problems (unless anyone can enlighten us?), Sony Ericsson have kindly decided to update the firmware for the Yari too. We’re not too sure what the update will entail as it’s not yet available through SE’s website but for all you Yari users, click here to keep tabs on things.
