Shhh, LG has a secret, the LG Secret KF750May 6, 2008 at 6:30 am by Jay | In Mobile News, Coming Soon Handsets
The Secret has a built in 5.0 megapixel camera and is the slimmest LG 5.0 megapixel camera phone to date. The camera has support for autofocus, plus has face detection software. There is a second front facing camera for video calls. The Secret KF750 is a slide design handset, with a full alpha numeric keypad, and also incorporating a touch screen. The navigation keys under the main screen are touch sensitive Neon Touch Navigation buttons. You can see visual effect of these in the video below. Incorporated into the handset are some features first found in the LG Viewty, such as support for DivX video playback and 120fps QVGA video recording. DivX support allows you to play a wide range of videos which have been downloaded from the web, without the need to convert them first, whilst video recording at 120fps means video quality is retained even in super slow motion video playback. The LG KF750 has a large 2.4 inch TFT QVGA display, supporting up to 262,000 colours, which has an ambient light auto adjust, and with a built in accelerometer the screen will auto rotate when viewing video, looking at photos or playing games. Accelerometers are useful not just for auto screen rotation but also for performing actions on the handset just by moving it. Games on the LG Secret take full advantage of this, you can throw a dart, navigate a maze or catch a fish by moving the phone. Also included is support for HSDPA Mobile Broadband, which allows for high speed downloads from the web direct to your handset, plus a built in email client, and a full media player. The music part plays MP3, AAC, AAC+ and WMA music files, whilst the video player plays MPEG4 and DivX files up to a resolution of 640 x 480. Support for Bluetooth 2.0 means you can listen to your music wirelessly via a stereo Bluetooth headset. Onboard memory capacity of the Secret is 100MB, which can be expanded with the addition of Micro SD memory cards.
