Samsung have officially announced the Samsung G400 Soul, a mobile phone from the same range that will produce the U900. The clamshell design and colour scheme is reminiscent of the U900, but instead of the haptic touchpad the G400 has a full touchscreen.
Through the touchscreen, on the front of the G400 flip, you can control the radio, MP3 player and camera, plus browse through the photo album. When in standby mode, you can also view caller notification and SMS info.
The Samsung G400 supports HSDPA, up to 7.2 Mbps data transfer, and is also equipped with Bluetooth 2.0 allowing you to listen to your music with a compatible wireless Bluetooth headset.
The G400 Soul also includes a 5.0 megapixel camera, with autofocus and face recognition software. There is a flash, plus support for video capture. The G400 also has a secondary front facing camera for video calls.
Also included in the phone is a full music player, with support for MP3, AAC, eAAC+ and WMA formats. Memory is expandable with the addition of a Micro SD memory card.
