You may have seen our post last week about the Nokia C7 video leak, which didn’t really gives up much in the way of specs. Well, it would seem that the Nokia C7 has now winged it’s way into the hands of Eldar Murtazin (Mobile Review) who is widely renowned as the guru of mobile phone leaks and is already high up on Nokia’s hit list (Google Eldar Murtazin and you’ll see what i mean.)
Despite (in spite of?) this, Mobile Review have posted a preview on the as yet, un-announced Nokia C7. Here’s what we know. The C7 is said to be a ‘Lite’ version of the Nokia N8 if you like, sporting a lower cost plastic chassis and an 8 megapixel camera and LED flash (vs. 12 megapixel and Xenon flash on the N8) The HDMI port has gone and the internal memory is said to have reduced to 8GB. Aside from the above, everything else is said to remain the same, a 3.5″ nHD AMOLED screen, 680MHz CPU, 256MB RAM, 1200 mAh battery and of course, the proprietary Symbian^3 and all of the usual connectivity options, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n) and Bluetooth 3.0.
Mobile Review have also estimated the cost of this stripped out handset at 350 Euros, 20 Euros cheaper than the Nokia N8. Well, i think we’ll wait for official announcement from Nokia but if that is the case, who would chose not to pay that little bit extra given how much more you get for your money?
