OrangeIn another first for the award-winning online retailer, Mobiles.co.uk has become the first distance reseller to be awarded Specialist Partner status by Orange.

Access to the exclusive programme is determined by resellers consistently achieving Orange’s Key Performance Indicators on quality.

Mobiles.co.uk’s achievement is all the more remarkable as it demonstrates for the first time that distance resellers with the right policies, processes and procedures can meet the stringent quality requirements laid down by Orange.

The benefits of Specialist Partner status include improved commercials and additional customer service and marketing support which in turn means even better mobile phone deals for customers.

Mobiles.co.uk’s MD, Simon Mason, commented

“We have been actively working towards OSP status with Orange since September 2006 and this award recognises the considerable effort undertaken in reaching and maintaining the quality standards. I’m delighted to have received recognition from one of the major networks that Mobiles.co.uk is a quality volume connector. I’m also proud that we are the first and only web based reseller so far to be awarded OSP status”.

Steve Heald, Head of Indirect for Orange added

“We welcome the addition of Mobiles.co.uk to the OSP programme. The high quality sales propositions and service offered by Mobiles.co.uk is delivering Orange customers exactly what they are looking for on the web right now. We look forward to a continued successful joint trading relationship as the newest member of the OSP programme.”
