London’s Science Museum opened the Dead Ringers exhibition on Wednesday, 29 March, in the science and technology news gallery of the institution.

It showcased pioneering phone technology, including the first UK display of NEC’s phone with a biodegradable cover, currently only available in Japan.

A prototype phone cover with an implanted sunflower seed, which gets additional nutrients from the biodegrading cover, is also on display.
