Officially unveiled earlier in the week, the Aspen is Sony Ericsson’s stab at an eco-friendly smartphone. Whilst previous members of the GreenHeart family have kept things simple with a focus on more feature phone attributes (such as the upcoming 5MP camera-toting Elm), the Aspen means business. Packing a full QWERTY keyboard, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS and running Windows Mobile 6.5.3 (the first phone to do so) the Aspen is well positioned as a business phone. But, staying true to its roots, the Aspen is green at heart, made from recycled plastics, less chemicals and no lead. But enough marketing spiel Sony E, where can we see this thing in action? Well, look no further because Sony Ericsson have duly obliged and released the following teaser video with some great close-ups and some subtle hints at the Aspens smartphone potential.
