Alltunes Mobile Service

March 30, 2006 at 2:33 pm by | In Mobile News, Mobile content/services

Alltunes is a new service for previewing and downloading songs to a mobile handset. It is run by the same people behind the website, www.allofmp3.com

Using Alltunes, you can search for a song you are interested in, from an album, or chart hit, favourite group or singer. All searchable from your mobile phone.

In total it is claimed that the catalogue lists 38,000 albums, 11,000 artists. More than half a million tracks!

It is possible to listen to any track free of charge or download it directly to your phone.

The full catalogue is about 15MB in size, so initially you download it to your PC then transfer it to your phones memory card. The catalogue is updated on a daily basis, when you connect with your phone to the network.

The catalogue is easy to search; you can browse by full or part name of a song, album or band. The catalogue is listed alphabetically. The Alltunes service works on Symbian Series 60 handsets.
